Gary Yorke Ph.D.

Dr. Yorke enjoys working with parents, children, and adolescents. Dr. Yorke is a Licensed Psychologist in independent private practice in Austin, Texas. Dr. Yorke has taught numerous workshops to parents and professional on Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity  Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Pervasive Developmental Disorders. He began working with children and adolescents in 1982 as a psychometrist and youth counselor. In 1989 he received his Ph.D. from St. John’s University. Dr. Yorke and Jane Yorke, M.A. founded ABHC in 1995 to provide evaluation and treatment services to the Austin community. Dr. Yorke regularly consults with parents and school districts on assessment and identification issues, in addition to treating patients in his private practice.

Jane Yorke, M.A.

Jane Yorke, M.A. is a Licensed Psychological Associate in independent private practice in Austin, Texas.  She has worked for over two decades in the area of assessment of learning disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and emotional difficulties as a school psychologist and psychotherapist. She works with children and adults, and has a special interest in evaluating college age students. Jane also specializes in evaluating students who need accommodations on national tests such as the LSAT, MCAT, SAT, GMAT, etc.  Along with, Gary G. F. Yorke, Ph.D., they founded Austin Behavioral Health Center in 1995 to provide evaluation and treatment services to the Austin community.  Jane Yorke and Gary Yorke also founded childtherapytoys.com in 2003.  childtherapytoys.com, LLC provides child therapy products via the internet to clinicians around the world.
